You can find us at Poddar Point on Park Street. We are up on the 8th floor in the North Wing of the building. It’s a bit different from the ground-floor shops because we have to take the elevator every morning, which sometimes takes forever when everyone is arriving at once. The address is 113, and it’s a big, well-known building in this part of town. Even though we’re in a high-rise, it’s not a flashy place inside. We have desks covered in papers, old calculators, and a few computers that hum quite loudly all afternoon. From the windows, you can see the tops of the trees and the traffic crawling along Park Street way below us. We spend most of our day on the phone or typing out logistics details. It’s a lot of coordination between different people. We have a small pantry where we make our own tea and coffee. The carpet is a bit worn in the spots where we walk the most between the desks and the printer. We don’t really do much advertising; people usually find us because they work in the same building or through friends. It can get pretty stressful when a shipment is delayed, but we just stay late and try to sort it out. We usually leave when the sun is going down and the street lights are starting to flicker on. It’s a long day.
