We’ve been tucked away in Room No C2 at Clive House for a while now. Most people find us inside the Aparna Bussiness Centre along Strand Road. It's a busy part of town, always lots of noise and trucks moving outside. We handle logistics stuff every day. Sometimes it’s a lot of paperwork and other times it’s just making sure a crate gets where it needs to go on time. We don't really do the fancy office thing. There are folders everywhere and the tea guy comes by twice a day. Working on Strand Road means you get used to the grit and the constant movement of the docks nearby. If you come looking for us, just head to the 11th spot in the centre. We’ve seen the city change quite a bit from this window. It’s mostly just us answering phones and checking manifests. It isn’t glamorous, but the work gets done. We know the routes around here like the back of our hands. Sometimes the internet is slow, or the rain makes things difficult, but that’s just how it is in this business. We stay busy. People bring their shipping problems to us and we try to figure them out without making a big fuss about it. That’s about it for Global Logistics Services. Just a few desks and a lot of tracking numbers. The walls are a bit faded, but we don’t mind much. It’s a place for work, not for showing off. Strand Road is always humming with activity, and we are just one small part of that whole machine.
