You can find us over at No. 71/1 B on Diamond Harbour Road. If you know Kolkata, you know that this road is one of the main veins of the city and it never really stays quiet. We are right in the middle of all that noise. Our place is basically an office where we handle all the import and export paperwork. There are always files stacked on the corners of desks and the sound of the printer going off. It is not a very large space, so we all sit pretty close to each other. We handle a lot of logistics, which means things can get a bit stressful when a shipment is delayed. We don't have any fancy decor or expensive furniture. Everything here is functional and has been here for a few years. Sometimes the traffic outside makes it hard to hear ourselves think, but that is part of being on Diamond Harbour Road. We have our tea breaks together and complain about the humidity during the summer. We are just a small team trying to make sure the goods get from one place to another without too much trouble. We don't use big words to describe what we do. It is just moving stuff around and making sure the numbers match up at the end of the day. It is a bit of a grind sometimes, but we are used to the rhythm of it by now.
