Food Village

We are over at 144, B T Rd in the Dunlop area. It’s near Alambazar. Kolkata is a crowded place and B T Road is always packed with buses and taxis. We are right in the middle of all that noise. Food Village has been at this spot for a bit. The building is old, like many others around here. We have 700035 as our pin code. Most people know the Dunlop crossing, so finding us isn't too hard. We just get on with our work every day. The walls are plain and we don't have any fancy decorations. It’s just a place to sit and eat. We see a lot of commuters going to and from work. Some stop in, some just rush past. We keep the fans running because it gets humid. Working on B T Road means you get used to the dust and the constant sound of engines. We don't try to be anything special. We are just a local business in Alambazar trying to do a decent job. We handle our own cleaning and shopping for supplies. It is a lot of work but it’s what we do. The 144 address is easy to spot once you are on the main stretch. We just hope the traffic isn't too bad for people trying to reach us. Sometimes the rain floods the street a little bit, but we stay open. It is just part of being in this part of town. We keep things simple and honest. People who live in Alambazar know we are here.
