Food Planet

Food Planet is located at 155 Dum Dum Road in the Motijhil area. We are very close to the Ghughudanga Post Office. Kolkata is a city that loves its food, and we are just one small part of that. We’ve been at this spot for a while now. The 700074 area is always crowded with buses and people walking, and we are right in the middle of it. Our restaurant is pretty basic. We have some tables and chairs, and a kitchen that stays busy from morning till night. We don't have a PR person or a fancy social media page. We just rely on the people who live around here to keep coming back. Sometimes we get the orders mixed up when it’s really busy, but we always try to make it right. It’s a bit hot in the summer since we aren't a big air-conditioned mall place, but we have fans going. We just do things the old-fashioned way. We buy our vegetables and meat fresh and cook them up. We don't have any grand statements to make. We just provide a place to eat for the workers and families in Motijhil. If you’re near the post office, you’ll see our sign. Just walk in and grab a seat. We’ll get you some water and take your order as soon as we can.
