Food Gallery

Located at 10, Kazi Nazrul Islam Avenue, our place, Food Gallery, is right by the Kolkata Airport in Kaikhali. You can hear the planes taking off if you stand outside long enough. It’s a busy part of the city, and we see a lot of people who are either coming from the airport or heading toward it. The avenue is wide and the traffic moves fast, so we try to make sure our sign is visible. Inside, it’s just a normal setup. We’ve got some tables and chairs and the kitchen area. We don’t have a team of chefs in tall hats, just a few of us who know how to cook. The humidity in Kolkata can be tough on the ingredients, so we are very careful about how we store everything. We spend a good chunk of our day just prepping vegetables and meat. It’s not a fancy gallery despite the name; it’s just a place where we serve food. Some of the people who stop by are regulars from around Kaikhali, and others we never see again because they are just passing through. We don't have any big goals other than keeping the place running and making sure the food tastes okay. It’s honest work and it keeps us busy from morning until night. There's always a new customer coming through the door with a suitcase, and we just do our best to get them fed quickly.
