Food Centre Hotel & Restaurant

We are situated right at 1 Paramhansa Deb Sarani in the Italgacha area. It’s quite easy to find us since we are so close to the Reliance Fresh. Being on Tarun Sengupta Sarani means there is always something going on outside our doors. We run both the hotel side and the restaurant, so things stay moving pretty much twenty-four hours a day. It’s a lot of work keeping up with the rooms and the kitchen at the same time. The staff here has been with us for years, and we all just kind of know what needs to be done without talking about it much. Kolkata can be a busy place, and Italgacha is no different. We get travelers who are just staying for a night and locals who come in just for a quick meal. Sometimes the rain makes things a bit messy out front, but we try to keep the inside tidy enough. We don't have any fancy decorations or a big corporate office. It’s just us running the place day in and day out. The building has some character, you could say. We focus on getting the food out on time and making sure the guests have what they need. It’s a simple business model, really. We don't do much advertising because people usually just find us while they're out shopping or walking nearby. It works out okay for us and keeps everyone here employed and busy throughout the year. We just keep our heads down and do the work that needs doing.
