We are tucked away at No. 40/ 1- B on Ekbalpure Lane. If you’ve ever been down the lane, you know it can get a bit tight with all the movement. Our space is filled with rolls of cloth and the hum of machines. It’s not a big, polished showroom. It’s a place where things actually get made. We spend our days measuring out fabric and making sure the patterns are cut right. The name Flying Circle comes from how we like to keep things moving. There’s always someone carrying a stack of finished pieces or unrolling a new shipment. The walls are a bit scuffed from moving the heavy equipment around. We have a small crew and everyone knows their job. Some of us have been here for years, and we can tell when a machine is acting up just by the sound it makes. Ekbalpure Lane is our home base, and we like the neighborhood feel of it. It’s a bit of a maze to get here, but once you’re inside, it’s all about the textile work. We don’t go for anything fancy in our office. Just a few desks, some sturdy tables, and a lot of thread. We focus on the daily tasks and making sure the work is solid before it goes out. Sometimes the rain makes the lane a bit muddy, but we still manage to get the shipments out. We have a small radio that plays in the background, mostly just to keep the energy up while we are doing repetitive work. It’s not a fancy life, but it’s ours.
