FINE BRICK PRIVATE LIMITED

Fine Brick Private Limited has been operating out of 204 AJC Bose Road for some time now. Being right in the middle of such a busy part of the city makes every day a bit of a scramble. You’ve probably seen the traffic around here; it never really stops. Our office is where we handle the orders and talk to the guys at the sites. We don't actually make the bricks right here on AJC Bose Road, obviously, because there’s no room for a kiln in this neighborhood. This is where the planning happens. We deal with lots of different people coming in and out, mostly contractors and builders who need a steady supply. It’s a lot of phone calls and ledger books. The building we are in is older, but it works for what we need. Sometimes the air conditioning struggles in the summer, so we just leave the door open and listen to the street noise. It’s not a quiet job, but we like being where the action is. Most of us have worked here for years and we’ve seen the city change quite a bit from our windows. We keep it simple. We take the orders, make sure the logistics are sorted, and try to stay on top of the paperwork. Sometimes we get people walking in off the street asking for directions. We don't mind helping out. The walls are covered in old calendars and maps. The tea guy comes around twice a day and that's usually the highlight of our afternoon.
