Fancy Catering Services

85, Mansatala Lane is where we do all the prep. Khidirpur is a busy area, lots of noise and people moving about. Fancy Catering Services is the name on the board, but we are just a bunch of cooks and helpers. We do not do anything too fancy despite the name. It is mostly rice, daal, and fish or meat for big gatherings. The kitchen gets really loud during the wedding season. We have these big heavy pots that take two people to carry. Khidirpur has its own vibe, very crowded but full of life. We have been in this lane for years. My father started this back when the roads were even narrower. We buy our spices from the local market nearby. Sometimes we run out of coal or gas and have to scramble. It is hard work, standing on your feet for ten hours. We do not have a fancy office for meetings. If you want to talk about an order, you sit on a plastic chair in the corner of the kitchen. We write everything down in a thick diary. It is messy, with food stains on the pages, but we never lose an order. People come to us because they know we will not let them down. It is a basic business for basic needs. We just focus on getting the food delivered on time.
