We operate out of AE 271 in Salt Lake City. It’s a typical block in the 700064 area of Kolkata. If you’ve walked around Salt Lake, you know how the blocks are laid out—lots of houses and quiet streets with plenty of trees. We’ve been using this space for a long time. It’s more of a functional workspace than a fancy storefront. Most of our day is spent in the back, dealing with pots, pans, and ingredients. Elite Catering Services isn't about some big corporate image; it’s just about the actual work of getting food ready. The neighbors are mostly residential, so we try not to make too much noise early in the morning, though the smell of cooking usually gives us away. We don’t have a big marketing team or anything like that. We just handle the orders as they come in. Sometimes the humidity in Kolkata makes the kitchen a bit tough to work in, but we’ve gotten used to it over the years. We keep our supplies in order and make sure the delivery van is ready to go. Salt Lake is a nice place to be based, even if the traffic toward the bypass can be a pain. We’re just a small crew doing our daily chores and making sure everything is prepared as it should be. It’s basic, honest work in a quiet corner of the city where we know the streets.
