Draupadi Caterer

You can find Draupadi Caterer over at 3 A, Radhanath Bose Lane. We are quite close to Scottish Church College, so there are always students and teachers walking around the main road nearby. The lane itself is a bit narrow, which makes it interesting when we have to bring in supplies. We have been working out of this spot for a good while now. The building is old and has a lot of character, much like the rest of this part of town. Our daily life involves a lot of prep work, from peeling sacks of onions to making sure the spices are ground just right. It is not an easy job and the hours are often long, especially during the wedding season. We don't have a professional office person, so if the phone rings, whoever has clean hands picks it up. The kitchen gets pretty loud with the sound of knives on boards and the exhaust fan humming in the background. We know most of the people who live on Radhanath Bose Lane, and they are used to us being here. We don't try to be anything we are not. We just show up, do the cooking, and make sure the food gets to the clients on time. It is a simple way of doing things, but it works for us and the people we serve.
