We are located at 27 Badur Bagan Street in Kolkata, which is a pretty central spot for us. Our office is usually full of paper because that is the nature of being associates. We handle a lot of different things, mostly legal or tax-related stuff that people find too confusing to do on their own. It is a lot of reading and checking figures to make sure everything is right. The desks are always a bit messy with folders and notebooks scattered around. We have a small waiting area for people who come in to see us, though it is nothing fancy. Just a couple of chairs and some old magazines. We have been working in this neighborhood for years and we like the vibe here. People often drop in without an appointment just to ask a quick question, and we try to help them if we aren't too swamped. It is the kind of place where everyone knows everyone else. Sometimes we stay late when there is a deadline, but we try to keep a normal schedule. We aren't looking to change the world, we just want to make sure our clients' paperwork is in order and they don't have any trouble with the authorities. It is practical work that requires a lot of attention to detail. We just take it one file at a time and try to stay on top of the pile.
