You’ll find Kothari & Associates at 1150-B on M.G. Road, over in the Keorapukur area of Haridevpur in Kolkata. If you know anything about this city, you know that M.G. Road is always buzzing with people and traffic. Our office is right in the middle of all that action. It’s an old-school kind of place, with plenty of paperwork piled up on the desks and the constant hum of ceiling fans overhead. We’ve been working out of this spot for a long time. It’s not a fancy modern office with glass walls; it’s a bit cramped and the paint might be peeling in a few spots, but it’s where we get our work done. The humidity in Kolkata can be really something, so we mostly just try to stay cool and stay focused on the files in front of us. We don’t have any big corporate speeches or fancy slogans. We are just a group of associates doing our daily tasks. People drop by with questions, and we do our best to help them out. The streets outside are loud, but inside we just keep at it. Sometimes we stay late when there’s a lot to do, and other times we leave as soon as the clock strikes. It’s a very regular, honest way to make a living. We just show up, do the work, and go home.
