Dipu Stores

The shop is right here on Raja Manindra Road in Paikpara. It’s been sitting on this corner in Kolkata for a good while now. Most days it’s just me or one of the boys behind the counter. If you know this part of town, you know it gets pretty busy with all the cars and people walking to and from work. Dipu Stores isn't anything fancy, just a regular place where you can grab what you need without a fuss. We have the usual things people ask for daily. Sometimes the fans are clicking away and it gets a bit dusty because of the road, but we try to keep things tidy enough. It’s a local spot, nothing like those big malls you see popping up. People stop by on their way home to pick up a few items, maybe chat for a minute if it isn’t too crowded. The street gets loud in the evenings, but inside it’s just the usual business of finding things on shelves and making change. I’ve lived around here most of my life so I know most of the faces that come through the door. We don't have a website or anything like that, just the physical shop here in Kolkata. If you’re walking past the Paikpara area, you’ll see us. It’s just a simple store for the neighborhood folks to get their chores done and move on with their day.
