Dipankar Store

You can find Dipankar Store in Fe Block, over in Sector 3 of Kolkata. We are quite close to the signal, so you can't really miss it if you are driving or walking by. I started this place because there weren't many shops right on this specific corner. We keep most of the stuff a household needs, like eggs, bread, snacks, and some basic medicines too. The Kolkata humidity can be really tough, so we have a couple of old fans going all day long. The shop is a bit cluttered, I’ll admit that. There are stacks of crates and boxes everywhere, but I know where everything is kept. Usually, people stop by on their way back from the metro or the bus stop. It is a good spot for a quick chat while they wait for their change. I like talking to the regulars about the local news or the weather. Sometimes it gets a bit chaotic when everyone wants something at the same time. We have those old glass jars for biscuits that have been there since we first opened. The floor is a bit worn out from all the people walking in, but it shows we’ve been here a while. We don't have any fancy displays or anything like that. It is just a shop for the people living in the Fe Block. I try to stock what people ask for. Just a simple life running a store near the signal.
