Delights Caterer

Our place is tucked away at 3B, right behind St Xaviers College on Short Street. It’s a little corner of the Park Street area that stays pretty lively because of all the students and office people around. Being in the 700016 zip code means there is always something happening outside the door. Delights Caterer is a small operation. We spend most of our time in the back where the cooking happens. It’s not a big, shiny office with fancy desks. Instead, we have large stainless steel tables and plenty of crates. We started doing this because we knew the neighborhood and realized people always need food for their gatherings. Every morning starts with the same routine of checking the fridge and starting the burners. The noise from the college and the traffic on Park Street is something we've just gotten used to over the years. Sometimes it gets a little chaotic when three orders are going out at once, but we manage. We aren't into big speeches or fancy advertisements. We just focus on the food and making sure the containers are packed tight so nothing spills. It’s a lot of standing on your feet and making sure the kitchen stays clean. We are just local people working hard in a small space. It’s simple, practical work that keeps us busy from morning until late at night. We just do our thing and hope people like the food we make for them.
