Deepali Store

You can find Deepali Store right on the Main Road, basically directly in front of the Allahabad Bank. It’s a busy spot because of the bank and all the commuters. The traffic never really stops, so there’s always a bit of a hum from the engines outside. We’ve been here for a while now, and the shop has seen its fair share of rain and sun. Inside, it’s mostly just shelves filled with daily necessities. It’s not the most organized place in the world, as things tend to get moved around by customers throughout the day. I spend a lot of time behind the counter, watching the people go in and out of the bank across the street. When it’s hot outside, the shop stays okay because of the shade, but we still keep the old fans going. We don’t have a website or anything like that; people just know we’re here on the road. Most of our regulars are folks who work nearby or live in the back streets. Sometimes the deliveries are late and we run out of things, which can be a headache, but we manage somehow. It’s just a simple storefront where we try to keep the basics in stock. Nothing flashy, just a brick-and-mortar shop doing its thing on a main road. We’re usually here until late evening when the street lights finally come on and the traffic starts to thin out.
