We've been here at 84 Rash Behari Ave for a while now. It's a busy part of Kalighat. People stop by when they're out shopping or just heading home from work. The place isn't fancy, just some tables and chairs where you can sit down and eat. We keep things pretty simple. Most days it gets quite crowded around lunch, and the noise from the street outside never really stops. We're right there on the main road, so it's easy to find if you're walking past the metro station area. My cousin helps out with the orders and I usually handle the kitchen stuff. Sometimes we run out of things early if it's been a long day. That’s just how it goes here. We don't have a big team or anything, just a few of us trying to get the food out on time. The menu hasn't changed much over the years because people seem to like what we usually make. You might have to wait a bit if you come during the evening rush. It gets a little chaotic when the rain starts and everyone ducks inside for cover. We try to keep the floors clean but it’s hard with all the foot traffic coming in from the pavement. It’s just a regular spot for a meal. Nothing more to it really. We're open most days unless something comes up. If you're around Kalighat, you'll see our sign right there on the avenue.
