We’re located at B-2/3W, Debjan, which is 334 N.S.C. Bose Road in Kolkata. D&G Button Products Private Limited is a name that’s been around this neighborhood for quite a while. Our office and workshop are in an older building that has a lot of character, if you like that sort of thing. It’s a bit cramped inside because we have so many samples and boxes of buttons everywhere. You wouldn't believe how many different types of buttons there are until you see our shelves. It’s a bit dusty, but we know where everything is. The traffic on Bose Road is usually a mess, so we hear a lot of honking throughout the day. We have a small crew here, some of whom have been with us since the beginning. We just sit at our tables, sorting through orders and making sure the colors match. It’s repetitive work, but there’s a certain rhythm to it that we enjoy. We don't do much in the way of marketing; the garment shops just know where to find us when they need supplies. Kolkata is a city that loves its traditions, and we feel like a small part of that. We take our tea breaks seriously and talk about the local news. It’s a humble setup, but it’s ours. We don't plan on moving anytime soon because we like being right here in 700047, surrounded by familiar faces.
