Dee Maroquinier

If you are looking for 14, Walliualla Lane, you will find us right on the ground floor. Dee Maroquinier has been in this spot for a bit. The lane can be a bit narrow, so if you are coming with a big vehicle, it might be a squeeze to get through. We stay busy with the leather work. It is a lot of cutting and stitching most of the time. The floor is usually covered in small scraps by the end of the afternoon. We do not have a big fancy sign or anything like that out front. Just the door and the work going on inside. It can get a bit warm in the summer, but we have a couple of fans that keep the air moving around. People usually find us because they need something fixed or they want a specific kind of bag or wallet. We just use what tools we have and get it done. The neighbors are mostly other small shops, so we all know each other. Sometimes we step out for a quick break, but someone is usually around the office. Being on the ground floor makes it easy for people to just pop their heads in and ask a question. We keep our supplies tucked away in the back area. It is a bit cramped, but it works for what we do. We do not really change much around here. It is just the same routine every week. We open up, check the orders, and start working.
