Concord Cargo Agency

We are based at 31A Mahim Halder Street, which is right near the Hazra Crossing in Kalighat. Our office is on the first floor. If you know the area, you know how busy that crossing gets with all the people going to the temple and the shoppers around. Our street is a bit smaller, so it's a little less noisy once you step inside. We focus on cargo agency work. That basically means we spend a lot of time coordinating between people who have things to move and the transport guys. The office is simple. We have our desks, some chairs for visitors, and lots of folders. We have been near Hazra for a long time, so we are used to the rhythm of this neighborhood. Sometimes the power goes out for a bit or the internet is slow, but we just keep going. It is not a high-tech place, just a practical one. We handle the paperwork and make sure the cargo isn't sitting around for too long. The staff here mostly lives nearby, so we are part of the local community. We don't have a big marketing department or anything. We just answer the phones and talk to the drivers. It is straightforward work. We like being in Kalighat because it's central and easy for people to find us once they get off at the crossing.
