Chennai Kitchen

We have been here at P-15/1 for a good while now. It is right in the middle of Chowringhee Square. If you know the area, you know how busy it gets around here. People are always rushing past the front door to get to the offices or the shops nearby. We just keep the doors open and do our work. It is not a very big place, just Chennai Kitchen, sitting there in the 700069 zip code. Sometimes the traffic outside gets so loud we have to shout a bit to hear each other, but you get used to it after a few years. We do not have any fancy signs or big lights. Most people find us just because they are walking by and see us working. The square is a bit of a mess during the rainy season, with the puddles and the umbrellas everywhere. I usually spend my mornings checking the supplies and making sure the tables are set right. It is just a regular job for us. We are not trying to be anything we are not. The walls could probably use a new coat of paint, but we never seem to find the time to get around to it. It is just us and the daily grind at the square. We see the same people every morning and the same faces every evening when they head home. It is a simple life at Chennai Kitchen.
