Cheap N Best

We’re located at No. 2 Nadge Lane, which is a small little spot for Cheap N Best. The lane is narrow, so if two cars try to pass at the same time, it’s a bit of a mess. Most of our regulars just walk here anyway. The name of the shop pretty much tells you what we’re about, though we don’t like to brag. It’s a small space, so we’ve had to get creative with how we store everything. Sometimes you have to move three things just to get to the one you want at the back. It’s mostly just us here, keeping track of the inventory and making sure the door stays open during the hours we promised. We get all kinds of people coming in, from neighbors looking for a quick fix to folks who’ve traveled a bit further. The lighting isn't the brightest, and the floor has a few scuffs, but it feels like home to us. We’ve been at this for a while, so we know most of the people who walk through the door by name. It’s a quiet life for the most part, except for the occasional loud motorbike going down the lane. We don't have any big corporate plans. We just want to keep the shelves stocked and the customers satisfied enough to come back next week. It's a simple business and we like it that way. We just keep things running.
