Bon Appetit

Our place, Bon Appetit, is on Old Calcutta Road in Barrackpore. It is a bit of a different vibe from the big city but the road still stays pretty busy most of the time. We are at number 5/1, right near the West Wind Restaurant. Most people in the neighborhood know where that is, so it makes finding us fairly easy for everyone. We have been serving food here for some time now and it is a pretty regular routine for us. We open up, get the kitchen prepped, and wait for the lunch crowd to start coming in. It is not a very big place, just a nice local eatery where you can get a decent meal without any fuss. We do not go in for all those modern marketing tricks or flashy signs. It is just a simple sign and some tables. The area around Old Calcutta Road has its own pace and we just fit into that. We see a lot of the same neighbors coming in week after week. It is a lot of work keeping everything stocked and the kitchen moving, but that is what we do. We like being in Barrackpore and serving the people who live and work around here. It is an honest way to make a living and we just take it one day at a time. We do not have any big plans, just keeping the food good.
