Our office is located at 43B/1 Mahim Halder Street, in a building called Vasudeva. We are in flat 2A. This is in the Kalighat area of Kolkata, which is always busy and full of energy. The street is quite narrow, and there is always something going on outside. Since we are a food and hospitality company, you might expect something very formal, but our office is actually quite cozy and lived-in. It feels more like a home than a place of business sometimes. We have our desks set up in the main room of the flat. There are always stacks of menus, schedules, and invoices lying around. We spend a lot of time talking about the food and the different places we manage. It gets pretty hot in here during the summer, so we keep the windows open and the fans going full blast. You can hear the sounds of the neighborhood, children playing, and people shouting, coming right inside. We are a small team, and we all know each other well. It’s not a place for big corporate meetings. We usually just sit around a small table and figure things out. Some of the furniture is a bit old, but it’s comfortable enough for the long hours we put in. We just focus on the work and try to keep everything running as best as we can. It’s a lot of juggling different tasks, but that is just how the food business goes for us.
