Bengal Caterer

Bengal Caterer is situated at 377, Diamond Harbour Road in Behala. If you know this area, you know that the traffic on the main road can be a total nightmare, but we have been here a long time. Our place isn't very large, but it’s where we do all our cooking for the various parties we handle. We do a lot of rice dishes, curries, and traditional sweets. We have a team of cooks who have stayed with us for many years, so they know exactly how I like things to be prepared. We don't go for anything too fancy or modern. It’s just solid, traditional food that people in Behala have come to expect from us. The kitchen is always noisy with the sound of chopping and the big exhaust fans. We spend a lot of time on our feet, and by the end of the day, we are usually pretty tired. We don't have a website or anything like that. Most of our customers are people who live nearby or have seen us at a local wedding. We handle the shopping ourselves at the local bazaar to get the best price on vegetables and fish. It’s a very hands-on business. Sometimes things go wrong, like a stove breaking down, but we just fix it and keep moving. It’s just a normal local catering service trying to do its job.
