Behala Banerjee Caterers

Out here on Diamond Harbour Road, at 528, things stay pretty active for us. Behala is a crowded area, so getting the catering vans out on time can be a real headache with the traffic. We’ve been operating from this spot for a while now. Most of our days are spent checking lists and making sure the kitchen has enough gas and supplies. We aren't a big fancy company with a glass office. It is just a workspace where we get things done. We handle local weddings and sometimes smaller house parties. People around here know the Banerjee name, mostly because they’ve seen us at their cousin’s wedding or a neighbor’s function. We don't spend much time on fancy websites or advertisements because the work usually keeps us busy enough. The kitchen starts early, usually before the sun is properly up, especially if there's a big lunch order. It can get quite hot in the back during the summer months, but nobody really complains much. We just get on with it. Every event is different, and we just try to make sure there’s enough food for everyone and that it tastes the way it’s supposed to. It’s a straightforward business, really. We buy the ingredients, we cook them, and we take them to where they need to go. That's the daily routine for us here in Behala.
