Bawarchi Caterer

At 146, S P Mukherjee Road, near Kalighat, is where we run Bawarchi Caterer. It’s a central spot, which helps when we have to move food all over the city. We’ve been in the catering business for a long time now. It’s a lot of logistics, making sure we have enough staff and that the ingredients are fresh. We don't do much advertising because we've been around long enough that people just know where to find us. Kalighat is a busy area, and our kitchen reflects that energy. We handle all sorts of events, from small house parties to larger receptions. We aren't interested in being the most expensive option; we just want to provide honest food that tastes like it should. Our cooks have been with us for years, so they know exactly how we like things done. There’s no corporate manual here, just experience and a lot of trial and error over the years. We’ve had our fair share of mishaps, like a van breaking down or a sudden rainstorm, but we always find a way to make it work. That’s just part of the job.
