Our small place is at A/86 Baghajatin. It is a simple building and we have been here long enough that the walls could probably tell a few stories if they could talk. Pride is not a big corporation with hundreds of employees in suits. We are just a local operation trying to do our job every day. The office is usually filled with the sound of a ceiling fan and the occasional car horn from the street outside. We handle a variety of tasks here, mostly related to local supply and the logistics of moving goods. It is not glamorous work at all. A lot of it involves checking long lists and making sure the inventory matches what the books say at the end of the month. We have got old wooden desks and chairs that squeak a bit when you sit down, but they do the job just fine for us. We do not spend much time worrying about how the place looks to outsiders who might pass by. As long as the work gets done and the people we deal with are satisfied, we are happy. Baghajatin is a good area to be in because everything you need is within reach. We know the tea stall guy and the people at the corner shop. It feels like a real community here. We just take things one day at a time.
