Askar Catering Service

We run Askar Catering Service from 100 A, M M Road in Kankurgachi. It’s a busy street, so there is always something going on outside our door. We’ve been in this location for several years now. Most of the people working here are from the local area. We handle all kinds of events, mostly for families in Kankurgachi and the surrounding spots. The kitchen is tucked away in the back of the building. It’s not much to look at, but we have everything we need to get the job done. I spend a lot of my time talking to vendors on M M Road. We try to get the freshest produce we can find each morning. Sometimes the deliveries are late because of the traffic, which is frustrating, but we make it work. We aren't a big company with a lot of layers. If you call, you usually talk to me or my brother. We do all the cooking and the cleaning ourselves with a few helpers. It’s a lot of heavy lifting and long hours on our feet. We don't have a fancy mission statement or anything. We just want to make sure the food tastes like it should. We’ve built a decent reputation just by showing up and doing the work. It’s a simple life, but we are proud of what we do here. M M Road is our home and we plan to keep it that way for the future.
