Anandamoyee Hardware

Anandamoyee Hardware is tucked away at 113 A in Monohar Das Chawk. If you know Burrabazar, you know how packed these streets get every single day. We’ve been operating from this little corner for a long while now. It’s not a shiny showroom. It’s more of a traditional hardware spot with tools and bits and pieces everywhere. The shelves are pretty high and we usually have to use a ladder to reach the stuff at the top. Burrabazar is always loud with carts and people shouting, but we’re used to it. We mostly deal with local contractors and people from the neighborhood who need something fixed. We don't do much advertising because most folks just walk in after seeing the sign. Sometimes it gets a bit dusty with all the metal and wood around, but that's just part of the hardware life. My cousins and I take turns at the counter. We don't have a big HR department or anything like that. It’s just us. The building itself is old, like most of the places around Monohar Das Chawk. We try to keep things organized, but on busy Mondays, it can get a bit chaotic inside. We just keep our heads down and help whoever comes through the door looking for a specific bolt or a hammer. It’s a simple life running a shop in this part of town, but it keeps us busy and we like the people we meet.
