Aimee Bistro Private Limited

We have a small bistro over in Sealdah, on CIT Road. The exact spot is P-18/A in Scheme LII. If you know Sealdah, you know it is one of the busiest places you can find in Kolkata. There are people everywhere and the noise from the station is never too far away. We run the place with just a few staff members. We are usually busy in the mornings getting the tables ready and the kitchen fired up. The bistro is a place where we try to keep things simple. We don't have a huge menu, just things we know how to make well. The space is a bit tight, especially during lunch when people come in from the nearby offices. Sometimes the stove acts up or we run out of something, and we just have to tell people and move on. It is an honest way to work. We spend a lot of time cleaning the floors and wiping down the counters because the city dust gets in everywhere. We like the energy of the street outside even if it is a bit much sometimes. It’s our own little corner in a very crowded part of West Bengal. We don't use any fancy marketing tricks; we just open the doors and see who comes in. The Scheme LII area has changed a lot over the years, but we just stay here in our little spot. We don't have an owner who stays in an office; we are all on the floor.
