Strand Road is always a bit of a mess with all the people and the traffic near the river. We are located right on the ground floor of the Hussunally Buildings. If you’ve ever been to this part of town, you know it’s one of those older places where the walls are thick and the ceilings are high. Our post box is 686, which we’ve had for ages. The office itself feels like it’s been here forever. We’ve got heavy wooden furniture and rows of ledgers that have seen better days. It’s dusty outside because of the road, so we’re always wiping down the desks. A. N. Hussunally & Co. has a history that you can kind of feel when you walk in. There’s no fancy elevator or lobby, just the ground floor entrance where customers wander in and out. Usually, there’s a stack of newspapers on the corner table and a pot of tea that’s gone cold. We don't have a marketing team or anyone to write glossy brochures. It’s mostly just us answering the phones and filling out forms. Some days are slow and we just talk about the weather or the local news, but when it’s busy, everyone is moving fast. We’ve got some regulars who’ve been coming to us for decades. It's just a regular old business keeping things moving in a busy part of the city. We keep our heads down and handle the daily tasks as they come.
