Green Field Restaurant

We are located on Panhala Road, very close to the Kolhapur Railway Station. Specifically, we are in the Rajput Wadi area. Being so close to the station means we get a lot of people who are either just arriving in Kolhapur or waiting for their train to leave. The restaurant stays pretty busy because of that. It is a noisy neighborhood with the trains and the traffic, but we have been here for a while and we are used to it. The space inside is geared towards getting people fed quickly so they don't miss their transport. We have rows of tables and chairs that are easy to clean. The walls have a few old pictures on them, but nothing fancy. We serve a lot of tea and breakfast items in the morning and then switch over to full meals for the lunch crowd. The kitchen is quite small, but we manage to keep up with the orders. Our staff knows most of the regular commuters by face. It is a honest, working-class kind of place. We don't have a website or a social media page; we just open the doors in the morning and wait for the crowd to come in. If you are looking for a place to sit for hours and talk, this might be too hectic for you, but for a quick meal near the tracks, it’s fine. It's just a regular part of the station-side life.
