We’ve been here at Plot No. 1 in the Sagar Complex for a while now. If you're driving down the Ahmedabad Mehsana Highway, you probably passed by the Ashirwad Hotel, and we are right near there. It gets pretty busy with the traffic moving back and forth all day. The yard is usually full of steel rods and sheets, and there is always someone loading or unloading something. Most of our days are spent just keeping track of the inventory and making sure everything is where it should be when someone comes to pick it up. It isn't a fancy setup. The office is small and we mostly just drink tea and talk to the drivers or contractors who stop in. Sometimes the dust from the road gets everywhere, but that is just part of being out here on the highway. We handle a lot of different steel stuff, mostly for building work or small projects around the area. People know us because we’ve been in this spot for years. We don't really do much advertising because most folks just see the sign while they are driving or hear about us from someone else in the trade. It’s a lot of manual work, moving heavy pieces around and checking sizes. We try to keep the gates open early so people can get what they need before the sun gets too hot. There's a lot of noise from the trucks, but we've gotten used to it. It is just a regular place doing regular work every day.
