Sri Rama Granites

Our place is located right near Mangal Gudam Village in the Khammam district. It's a bit out of the way for some people, but it works for us. We deal with granite day in and day out. Out here, the ground is hard and the work is heavy. We have various blocks and slabs sitting out in the yard under the open sky. People from around the village and the nearby towns come over when they need stone for a kitchen or a floor. It’s mostly just hard work and keeping track of what we have in stock. The weather can be a bit much sometimes, especially in the summer months, but we get through it. We aren't big on fancy talk. We just show you the granite, tell you the size, and figure out the loading. Dealing with stone is a bit of a rough business, your hands get calloused and the boots never stay clean. My father started this, and we just kept it going because there’s always a demand for granite around here. We see a lot of the same faces, like contractors who have been buying from us for years. They know where we are, tucked away near the village. We don't have a big sign or anything, just the piles of stone and the sound of the machinery running. It’s a simple setup but it gets the job done for everyone involved in the local building trade.
