Sri Channakesha Granites

Sri Channakesha Granites is located out in the village of Gurralapadu at Survey-137/A-1. We have a fairly large open space where we keep all the granite blocks and finished slabs. It's a quiet area until we get the saws started in the morning. We spend a lot of our time out in the yard checking the quality of the stone that comes in. Working with granite takes a lot of patience because you can't rush the cutting process without making mistakes. We are just local people working here. There is nothing corporate about how we run things. We mostly get our work from people nearby who are building new homes or fixing up old ones. The ground is usually wet from the water we use to keep the blades cool. It can get a bit messy especially when it rains. We don't have a big office or a fancy sign out front. Most folks just know where we are because they’ve lived here as long as we have. We do the heavy lifting ourselves and make sure the sizes are what people asked for. It's a straightforward business. We show up every day and deal with the stone. Sometimes we have a lot of work and sometimes it’s a bit slower. That is just how it goes in a small village setup like ours.
