Ramdev Baba Granites

Our business is located at Plot No 72 in Kaikondaigudem. It’s a fairly open area, which is good because granite takes up a lot of room. We don't have a big building, just the plot where we keep all the slabs and the equipment. It’s a bit of a dusty environment, especially when the wind picks up across the open ground. We spend most of our time outside, moving the heavy stones around with the crane or by hand when we have to. Ramdev Baba Granites is a place where we wear boots and old clothes because they are just going to get dirty anyway. Kaikondaigudem is a place we have grown used to over the years. We know the other business owners nearby and we look out for each other. Sometimes the days feel long when the sun is beating down on the rock, but it is just part of the trade. We keep a small shed for our tools and a place to sit when we take our lunch. It is not a glamorous job, but it is what we know how to do. The stone comes in from the quarries and we organize it by color and size. There is a certain satisfaction in seeing the rows of granite all lined up neatly at the end of a hard day. We aren't trying to be the biggest place, just a reliable one on Plot 72.
