Shivakeshava Granite

You can find Shivakeshava Granite over in the Kasba Bazar area, specifically on Jma Masjid Road. It is a very busy part of the city with shops and people everywhere you look. Our little spot is usually packed with different pieces of granite and other stones. Because the road is quite narrow, it can feel a bit cramped when we are trying to move things around, but we have figured out how to make it work over the years. Kasba Bazar has a lot of history and we feel like a small part of that. We have been on this street for a long time now. Most people know us because of the stacks of stone we keep right out front. We don't have a polished showroom with air conditioning. It’s more of a dusty workshop environment. We always have stone dust on our clothes by lunch. It’s just the way it is in this line of work. We don't really do anything online. Most of our customers just walk in because they were passing by or they live in the neighborhood. We get all kinds of visitors. Some are looking for a small piece for a renovation, and others are planning something much bigger. We just show them what is in the yard and let them decide. It’s a simple life on Jma Masjid Road. There is always noise from the market and the temple nearby which makes the days go by faster.
