Sri Lakshmi Ganesh Granites

Our place, Sri Lakshmi Ganesh Granites, sits on Survey 136 in Gurralapadu Village. It’s a basic setup where we spend our hours cutting through big blocks of stone. There isn't anything fancy about how we operate. We just have our equipment and a place to keep the inventory. The air in the village usually smells a bit like wet stone when we are working hard. We don't have a big marketing budget or anything like that. We just rely on people seeing our sign and stopping in to see what we have. It’s a lot of manual labor, and your back definitely feels it by the evening. We try to keep the yard as orderly as possible, but with stone everywhere, it’s always a bit of a mess. That’s just the nature of the business. We get our stone from nearby and process it right here at our spot. If someone needs a piece for their home, they just come over and look through the stacks. We don't use fancy sales tactics. We just tell them the price and let them decide what they want to do. Living and working in Gurralapadu is steady. We know the local rhythms and we fit right in. We aren't trying to change the world, just trying to provide what people need from our yard at Survey 136. It’s honest, hard work and we’re okay with that life we have built.
