Sri Dhattha Granites

Our small business, Sri Dhattha Granites, is over at Pl.No. 128/A1 in Gurralapadu. It’s not a huge place, but we make it work for what we need. We spend most of our time out in the yard among the piles of granite slabs. Gurralapadu is a quiet enough place to work. We don't have a big team, just a few of us who have been doing this for years. We know how the machines sound when they’re working right and when they need a bit of oil. Most of the stone we have at Pl.No. 128/A1 comes from the nearby quarries. We spend a lot of time checking the polishing to make sure it looks okay. It’s hard work on the back, especially moving the smaller pieces by hand. We don't have any corporate mission or anything. We just want to get through the day's work and make sure the customers are satisfied with the slabs they pick. Some days we have more work than we can handle, and other days it’s a bit slower. That’s just how the stone business goes in Gurralapadu. We’ve been at Sri Dhattha Granites for a long time now. People know us as the local guys who work with stone. We just keep it simple and honest. Sometimes we have tea together before we start up the heavy saws.
