Snehitha Granites

The yard is located at 9-1-3 in Khanapuram, which is very close to Delhi Public School. If you are coming during the morning or the afternoon, the school buses make the road quite crowded. It is a noisy spot but it keeps us on our toes. We deal with granite, which is heavy and hard to move around without the right help. Snehitha Granites has been sitting here for a while and the walls of the small office are covered with samples that have been there for years. The dust from the stone cutting gets everywhere, even if we try to sweep it out every morning. You can smell the wet stone when the guys are working out back. Khanapuram is a developing area, so there is always some construction noise going on nearby. We sit here and wait for the trucks to arrive with the new blocks. Sometimes they are late and we just sit around and talk about the weather or the local news. The chairs are a bit old and the ceiling fan makes a clicking sound when it is on high. It is just a normal place of work, nothing too special to look at. We have a small teapot that stays on the table most of the day. People come in looking for something for their kitchen or floors and we show them what is currently in the yard. It keeps us busy enough throughout the week.
