Shyam Granites

If you drive down toward Elland Road near Khanapuram Haveli Village, you’ll probably see our place. We’ve been set up here in the Urban Mandal area for a good bit of time now. Shyam Granites isn't some high-end boutique; it’s more of a practical yard where we keep heaps of granite slabs. It’s usually pretty dusty because of all the cutting and moving we do throughout the day. We get folks stopping by from the village and the surrounding mandal looking for something sturdy for their homes. Granite is tough stuff, which is why we like working with it, even if it’s a pain to lift. We don't really do much advertising or anything like that. People just find us by driving past or hearing about us from a neighbor. Our day usually starts early, checking the inventory and making sure the slabs are organized so people can actually see what they’re buying. Some days are slower than others, but there’s always something to clean or a truck to wait for. We don’t have a big team, just a few of us making sure things get done right. The sun can get pretty hot out here on the road, but that’s just part of the job. We keep it simple and just focus on the stone. It’s what we know, and it’s what we’ve been doing for years now.
