Sai Sri Latha Granites

Out here at Survey-283 & 284 in Kaikondaigudem-Vill, we run Sai Sri Latha Granites. It’s a pretty wide space, which is good because granite takes up a lot of room. We spend our days sorting through the slabs. Some have more patterns than others. We don't have a big corporate office or a secretary. It's just us out in the yard. Most of the time, we're wearing boots and old clothes because of the mud and dust. The work at Kaikondaigudem-Vill is consistent. People come to us when they are building something new. We just show them what’s available at Survey-283 & 284. Sometimes the slabs are really heavy and we have to be extra careful with the crane. It’s a lot of responsibility to make sure nothing gets damaged. We've had our share of long days at Sai Sri Latha Granites. When the sun goes down, we finally shut the gates. We’ve known the neighbors around here for years. It feels like a community. We don't do much marketing or anything like that. Word usually gets around just by people talking. We focus on the stone and making sure it’s cut to the right size for whoever is buying it. It’s a simple, honest way to make a living. Most days we finish up around sunset and head back home to rest.
