If you find yourself in Rajiv Gunj, you’ll likely pass by our place at Guralapadu. We’ve got a lot of stone sitting out front under the shade. It’s a family-run kind of thing, and we’ve been working with granite for a long time. People around here know us for the heavy slabs we keep in stock. The yard is usually a bit messy because there’s always cutting or polishing going on somewhere. We don't have a big marketing team or a social media person. It’s just us talking to customers and showing them what we’ve got available on the racks. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to wait a bit to get back to the saws. It’s a hot job, especially in the summer months when the sun hits the stone. We just wear our old clothes and get to work. We try to keep the door open for anyone who walks in looking for a piece of stone for their kitchen or floor.
