You can find us at Pl.No.5-28/1 in Palavancha, right near the Lorry Association Hall on Bcm Road. Because we are so close to the association, we always have truck drivers hanging around or parked nearby, which gives the whole street a very busy, industrial feel. We set up S R Marbles And Granites here because it’s a convenient location for moving heavy goods in and out. Our yard isn't huge, but we make the most of the space by stacking the marble and granite slabs carefully. We do a lot of the work ourselves, from helping customers pick out a piece of stone to making sure it gets loaded onto the right vehicle. The office is just a simple room with a table and a couple of plastic chairs for visitors. It’s often a bit messy with brochures and measuring tapes, but we know where everything is. We don’t have any salespeople in suits; we just talk to people like neighbors and show them what we have in stock. The heat in Palavancha can be tough, so we have a big fan running in the shed most of the time. It’s a straightforward way to make a living, and we enjoy the daily interactions with the locals and the transporters who pass through this part of town. We've been here for a while and don't plan on moving.
