Renuka Granite Industries

Renuka Granite Industries is out in Mudigonda at Survey No.176. It is a bit of a trek to get out here but we have plenty of space for the granite. Being away from the main town center means we have more room to spread things out. The ground is often dry and dusty around the yard. We spend our mornings checking on the inventory and seeing what needs to be moved. It is quiet out here compared to the city, which is nice most of the time. The workers are usually busy with the heavy lifting and keeping the site organized. We don't have much of a front office, just a small space to sit and handle the paperwork. Dealing with granite is tough work because the slabs are so heavy and you can't afford to make mistakes. We have been at this location for some time now. You see a lot of trucks coming in and out of the survey land area. It’s a simple way to make a living, just working with stone and the land. In the evenings, things quiet down a lot and we close up for the day. There is always more work to do tomorrow with new batches of stone coming in. We just focus on the day-to-day stuff and keep the yard running.
