Lotus Granite Industry

Out here on the Khammam To Mudigonda Road, you’ll find Lotus Granite Industry. We are located at Pl. No. 167/2, right near the Bvr Petrol Bunk in Mudigonda. It’s a good spot because the trucks can pull in easily from the main road. Working with granite is heavy, noisy work, and there is usually a layer of stone dust on everything by noon. We spend our days moving big slabs around and getting them ready for whatever project they are headed for. It’s mostly just us and the machines out here. Sometimes the weather makes it tough, especially when it rains and the yard gets muddy, but we keep at it. We aren't much for fancy talk or big advertisements. Most people find us because they saw the yard while driving to the petrol bunk or someone told them where we were. We’ve got a small crew, and we’ve all been doing this long enough that we don't need much instruction. The slabs come in rough and we do what needs doing to get them out the door. It is honest work. The yard is usually full of different colors of stone, and sometimes it’s nice just to see the patterns in the rock before they get loaded up. If you come by, you’ll likely see us near the back where the cutting happens. Just watch your step around the machinery. It's a busy place and we don't always have time to clear the paths perfectly. We’ve been on this road for a long time and the locals know us.
