P L N I College

If you head out to Village Nidauri, which is near the Baraon post office in the Karchhana tahsil, you will find P L N I College. It is quite a way out from the main city of Allahabad, sitting in a very rural area. This means the surroundings are mostly green fields and open sky. The college is a major landmark for the people living in Nidauri and the other villages nearby. It is not a polished campus with paved paths everywhere. Instead, it is a practical building that serves the local community. Many of our students come from farming families, so the rhythm of the college often follows the seasons of the village. During harvest time, things might be a little quieter than usual. The building itself is basic, with sturdy walls and classrooms that let in a lot of natural light during the day. Because it is in Karchhana, the air is much cleaner than in the city, but the roads can be a bit rough to travel on. We do not have a big corporate office or a marketing department. It is just the principal and the teachers working in the same building as the students. People know us because their brothers or sisters came here before them. It is a quiet place for the most part, away from the noise of the highway. It feels like a real part of village life.
